The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works. ~ Psalm 145:9 ~
Valued.
Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. ~ Matthew 10:29-31 ~
Magnificent.
…the human race throughout the whole world is under the guidance of the Lord… …everyone from infancy even to the end of his life is led by Him in the most individual things and his place foreseen and also provided… Man does not see anything of this universal providence; and if he did, it could not appear to him otherwise than as passers-by see the scattered heaps and collections of materials from which a house is to be built; while the Lord sees it as a magnificent palace with its work of construction and enlargement continually going on. ~ Divine Providence 203 ~
Image.
…Divine love, and consequently Divine providence, has as its end a heaven consisting of people who have become or who are becoming angels, to whom it is possible for the Lord to impart all the blessings and felicities connected with love and wisdom, and to impart these from Himself in them. Nor can it be otherwise, because from creation people have in them His image and likeness… ~ Divine Providence 27 ~
Least.
…the Lord’s foresight and providence are present within the tiniest details of all the smallest individual things with [a person], and in details so tiny that it is impossible to comprehend in any manner of thought one in many millions of them. For every smallest fraction of a moment of a person’s life entails a chain of consequences extending into eternity. Indeed every one is like a new beginning to those that follow… ~ Arcana Caelestia 3854 ~
Emerge.
…if evils were not permitted to break out, a person would not see them, and therefore would not acknowledge them, and so could not be brought to resist them. It is on this account that evils cannot by any providence be prevented. For in that case they would remain shut in, and would, like the diseases called cancer and gangrene, spread and eat away every human spark of life. ~ Divine Providence 251 ~
Temporal.
…the Divine Providence does not regard that which soon passes away, and ends with the life of man in the world, but…it regards that which remains to eternity, thus which has no end. …Let him who can, think whether a hundred thousand years are anything compared to eternity, and he will perceive that they are not; what then are some years of life in the world? ~ The New Jerusalem and its Heavenly Doctrine 269 ~
Current.
…people in the stream of providence are being carried along constantly towards happier things, whatever appearance the means may present. Those in the stream of providence are people who trust in the Divine and ascribe everything to Him. ~ Arcana Caelestia 8478 ~
Trust.
Peace holds within itself trust in the Lord, the trust that He governs all things and provides all things, and that He leads towards an end that is good. When a person believes these things about Him he is at peace, since he fears nothing and no anxiety about things to come disturbs him. How far a person attains this state depends on how far he attains love to the Lord. ~ Arcana Caelestia 8455 ~
Flourish.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out [its] roots by the river, and shall not [fear] when heat cometh, but [its] leaf shall be green; and shall not be [anxious] in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8 ~
